Miss Ride Iowa contest

Become Queen for a Day for Ride Iowa, win a prize package including prizes from Trade Secrets, Texas Roadhouse and Stoney Creek Inn.

All contestants should pre-register at our scheduled Bike Night
Pre-registration Events. Registration fee is $10. Miss Ride Iowa will draw for the winner of the 2009 Harley Davidson Sportster and will be present at all Ride Iowa 2010 events and promotions.

Tattoo Contest

Show off your art work in the Ride Iowa Tattoo Contest. We have had some great art work in the past and we are looking forward to the new work this year.

Registration starts at 11am and judging starts at 2pm. You can register the day of the event at the Iowa Speedway and the cost is $10.00 to enter.  There will be awards for 1^st – 3^rd place in each of the 5 categories; Wildlife, Black and Grey, Portrait, Color, and Unique / Extensive.

Car Show

Attention all people who prefer 4 wheels!

Ride Iowa is opening its doors to CARS this year. We are holding a Ride Iowa Car Show in 2009 at the Iowa Speedway. You can pre-register or drive right in on July 25^th and enjoy the fun.

You can pre-register by mailing the registration form to 535 Main St. Ames, IA 50010. You can also drive in the day of the event and fill out the form at the Speedway between 11am and 1pm. The cost is $10.00 per car. Judging starts promptly at 2pm with awards being handed out at 3pm sharp.

This Car Show is open to any and all cars that fit into one of these 6 categories; Classics, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Trucks, Customs, and Specialty. There will also be a “People’s Choice Award” handed out to the best car per the peoples vote.

Each automobile entry will receive a dash plaque as well as a goody bag filled with great stuff from our sponsors.

All cars are encouraged to join us in the drive to O'Kellys Pub in Baxter at 4pm following the award ceremony. What a sight it will be watching all those motorcycles and cars drive together.
